Elections 2010 – time to TalkIssues

talk-issues-image

On the 6th of April Gordon Brown announced the official start of the election. As we are faced with the most uncertain result for a generation we have the very real opportunity to reflect and respond to the nitty gritty of the parties policies- and find out the issues that mean most to us.

Talk Issues, a campaign hosted by The Democratic Society and supported by us here at FutureGov, aims to capture the possibility of this election. It recognises the candidate sniping and mudslinging in the mainstream media, and looks at another approach to engage voters, by providing round ups of what the parties really stand for on a wide range of issues, from crime to ID cards, war to constitutional reform and asking “what are the issues that you want to talk about?”

Election 2010 really is one to get involved in, and it’s too important to leave to personality politics. Get involved- it’s time to talk issues.
