FutureGov is fortunate enough to be rather busy right now. We’ve got our our Interactivism hack event with Google this week, the Digital Mission to DC in mid-July, the next phase of the Patchwork prototype, Simpl – our social innovation marketplace… And that’s not even mentioning a bunch of very exciting local government gigs (like Community Kitchens) focusing on using the web to help create new kinds of public services.
All that work means we need to grow. And we have been. Recently we’ve expanded to a team of eight and now we’d like to add a ninth – you!
We’re looking for a special kind of designer. Why special? Well you have to be digitally savvy for a start. Not a full on developer (although if you dabble that would be a bonus) but a web-lover and well versed in how to use it to change ways of working. Your design skills should be tip-top, from being able to make things look good to having service design knowledge and experience. You should definitely have a love for government, public services and social innovation, ideally with experience in the field. Even better if you’re the kind of self-starter who may have given your own social innovation project a go already.
If you think you’re up to the challenge we’d love to hear from you. For all the details and how to apply, see the beautiful flyer we have lovingly prepared with everything you need to know right there: Wanted: Designer flyer
