Throughout history, we've seen truly impactful work by communities, responding to and improving the lives of many. As the reality of climate change has shifted to a climate emergency, we must once again come together with a shared voice to devise new, radically different measures to respond.
Over the last year, we’ve supported innovative projects powered by community efforts that are focused on addressing climate change. From a climate assembly in Blackpool, transitioning to sustainable transport in the West of England and the implementation of a zero-emission zone in Oxford, amongst others. In each of these projects, we’ve had the opportunity to engage directly with communities. It’s clear an overwhelming majority of citizens believe we must make change happen now before we see an irreversible impact.
