Ameo, local government reorganisation and transformation specialists, joins FutureGov

Earlier this year, Ameo joined The Panoply, extending our capabilities in change management and implementation across our group. Since joining, we’ve worked closely with Ameo teams to learn from each other and deliver great pieces of work with our partners in places like Buckinghamshire County Council, North East Lincolnshire and the London Borough of Hounslow.

And so today, I’m happy to share that Ameo is becoming part of FutureGov.

We recognised quite quickly that Ameo and FutureGov share an ambition and mission to support the delivery of 21st-century public services, bringing organisations and communities closer together to build on the best of their places. Bringing Ameo into FutureGov felt like a very natural progression and the right next step in continuing to deliver on that, bringing better ways of working, wider capabilities and an overall stronger team into one.

Ameo brings with them over a decade of experience in local government reorganisation and transformation, with practical delivery experience in places including Buckinghamshire County Council, supporting their transition into a single unitary while maintaining service continuity for residents, and Dorset Council, helping their transition to the new authority.

Ameo’s expertise in change and transformation across wide-ranging sectors will supercharge FutureGov’s change delivery capabilities. Bringing together the best of us both, where one plus one is greater than the sum of our parts, we’ll make our integrated approach real through full-stack change delivery to rethink how our health and public sector organisations work in the 21st-century and build the best outcomes for citizens with long term impact.

We’re excited for this next stage of FutureGov. And it’s something that wouldn’t be possible without the continued hard work of our team over the last year. As we transition into this next phase, we’re looking forward to delivering even greater impact for our clients and their communities.
